Durban City Football Club and Zimbabwean champions Scottland FC are pleased to announce a landmark strategic partnership that will strengthen football development, technical collaboration, and commercial growth across Southern Africa.
The agreement represents a significant regional football bridge between South Africa and Zimbabwe, designed to create sustainable player pathways and unlock new commercial opportunities for both Clubs.
At the core of the collaboration is a shared vision to develop world-class talent through structured player pathways, coaching exchange programmes, joint youth development initiatives, and competitive fixtures across senior and youth levels. The partnership will also explore commercial synergies, digital content initiatives, and regional brand expansion.
The agreement positions Durban City FC and Scottland FC as forward-thinking Clubs committed to regional cooperation, elite performance standards, and the growth of African football beyond national borders.
Speaking on the partnership, Durban City FC Chairman Farook Kadodia said the collaboration aligns with the Club’s broader strategic vision.
