Durban City Football Club was honoured at a special gala dinner held on Sunday evening, 10 May 2026. The event was attended by the Premier of KwaZulu-Natal, Mr Thami Ntuli, the Honourable MEC for Sport, Arts and Culture in KwaZulu-Natal, Mr Mntomuhle Khawula, SAFA leadership, sponsors, distinguished guests, and various stakeholders, as the province came together to celebrate the Club’s historic Nedbank Cup triumph.
